BOOK GROUP

You may be wondering, what does a study-and-struggle book collective look like? How does it work and how is it different from a standard book club?

Dr. Leigh Patel (2019) reminds us of the pivotal role played by the dynamic of studying and struggling in social movements: “Fortunately, there is a long history of the intertwined nature of study and struggle to inform contemporary protests and uprisings, all of which included a love for a better society” (p. 4).

You can join for a semester or two at a time! Be ready to study, struggle, learn, and transform your pedagogy!
