Small Group Coaching
At the Freedom Dreaming Collective, we believe that coaching within a collective of like-minded educators is a cheat-code for transformation! Coaching cycles run on a semester basis and topics emerge organically from the Collective of Freedom Dreamers present.
You will receive a reply within 3-5 business days.
For the sake of cohesion and group integrity, I ask Freedom Dreamers who join any semester-long group coaching formation to commit to attending for the duration.
In addition to general coaching groups, we offer affinity spaces for educators of color.
Possible Topics Include (but are certainly not limited to) the Following:

Practicing Curricular Subversion:

Turning colonized curriculum into culturally and linguistically sustaining learning experiences.

Auditing Classroom Libraries:

Using Dr. Rudine Sims Bishop’s framework to critically analyze books in our libraries.

Decolonizing Colleague Relationships

How to navigate, decolonize, and grow relationships with our school colleagues.
Additional Note: Freedom Dreamers who wish to extend the work in small group coaching can add on 1 virtual visit to their classrooms or teaching spaces (or, similarly, a review of video teaching) for an additional price with sliding scale options.

Individual, 1-on-1 Coaching
-
Do you think you would benefit from working with me 1-on-1 to discuss some aspect of your pedagogy?
-
Are you the type of teacher and learner who thrives when offered targeted, individualized support?
-
Have you been looking for a space where you can brainstorm ideas you’ve been hoping to launch in your classroom, and would benefit from speaking with someone outside of your school setting?
If your answer is “yes” to any of these questions, 1-on-1 coaching could be for you.
You will receive a reply within 3-5 business days.
By following the "Get Started Here" link above, we can explore whether individual coaching is a good fit for you. If so, we will have a trial coaching session where we’ll have the chance to explore the possibilities of working together in this arrangement. If not, I encourage you to consider joining the small group coaching group, the study-and-struggle book collective, or taking one of the live-synchronous courses. I look forward to meeting with you to assess the possibilities!
